Tavern on the Bay is a privately owned business in a Victorian home overlooking the bayfront of historic downtown Saint Augustine. Here you have a panoramic view of the fort, Matanzas Inlet, horse and carriages & the Bridge of Lions. The private rooms have a very beautiful Victorian setting.

The tavern was once the private home of William Diskmuits, built in 1917. Mr. Diskmuits was the first president of Florida National Bank.

Our menu can be adjusted to suit most needs, including vegetarian and children's menus.

There is a $100.00 fee for the private rooms, exclusive of other costs. We provide all linen, glassware, silverware, and decoration. You may add any other decorations to suit your needs.

There is a full bar available upon request. You may add the bar costs to your personal tab, or a cash bar can be set up.

All menu prices are set for 12 months from the day of the booking. Should you need to cancel, Tavern on the Bay requires a 30 day notice for a full refund of you deposits.

The total deposit required to book the room is $212.00 ($200 room fee = $12.00 tax.)
